YES! (Young and Emerging Scholars) is the IGU Gender and Geography Commission’s platform for early career feminist geographers. YES! was officially launched in 2016 during the Commission’s pre-conference in Barcelona. The aim of YES! is to create opportunities for networking, mentoring and sharing. Over the years YES! has organised in-person and online events that showcase early career research, scholarship and feminist concerns. YES! firmly believes in peer-to-peer support and is committed to advancing communication and sharing between feminists geographers in the Global North and South, and across generations. We are particularly keen to promote new membership in the Commission from early career scholars and to foster transnational collaborative networks. Meet our steering committee here.
